How I Healed the Burn- Naturally

I’ve tested my share of natural first aid balms, and it’s not often (thank goodness) that I really have to put one to work. But when I burned my hand on a 400 degree oven rack a few weeks back, I put CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm to the test.
Actually, that’s not the whole story.
I left my burn alone for the first few days, and let nature take its course. The healing process was slow, and not pretty. Finally I pulled out my sample of CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm and started applying it twice a day, figuring that it couldn’t hurt. Overnight, I saw a transformation. Within a few days, my skin had healed completely, leaving a faint pink scar (that I’m now treating with pure rosehip oil- a fantastic scar treatment). Without this balm and its potent mix of healing agents like turmeric, reishi mushroom, calendula, arnica, ginger, and sea buckthorn, I might still be waiting for my skin to come back to life! The balm is petrolatum-free and packed with natural moisture from shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax, and more.

It’s really no surprise that this balm is such a miracle healer. The CV Skinlabs line was created by a serious expert on healing skin: Britta Aragon, author of When Cancer Hits and CincoVidas.com. Aragon is herself a cancer survivor who has made it her mission to help others maintain quality of life during and after cancer treatment. But her product line is a lifesaver to anyone— from those with eczema and rashes or post-microdermabrasion skin, to those in need of first aid, like myself. I also tried CV Skinlabs Calming Moisture, one of the richest and most gentle lotions I’ve ever used. My sensitive skin loves this formula.
Now, for the giveaway…
I’m thrilled to have the chance to give away two of CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balms, my new first aid essential. To enter to win one of these powerful balms, leave a comment on this post what you’ll use the balm for- to treat dry skin? as a just-in-case for your medicine cabinet? for cuticles or chapped lips? For a second entry, like Beauty Is Wellness on Facebook.
Next Friday, 7/6, I’ll choose two winners at random to take home one tube of CV Skinlabs Restorative Skin Balm.
**Congrats to Mary Leonard and Melissa Ayers, winners of the CV Skinlabs giveaway! Enjoy!**
Til then, everyone should check out CV Skinlabs products, which would make wonderful gifts for anyone undergoing cancer treatment, or dealing with sensitive or allergic skin. For more expert information on healing skin during cancer treatment, CincoVidas.com is the place to go.

Ohhhh, I need to get some of this and give my poor Aloe Vera plant a break. I am an avid baker and burned hands and arms are an everyday thing for me.
I just heard about this brand and I’m anxious to try it. My hands and lips could definitely benefit from this balm. Have you tried the other products? I’m already a fan via Facebook. Thanks!

I think for sure the medicine cabinet and my cuticles. I’ve recently started gardening and the garden gloves are cumbersome for me at this point and my nails and cuticles have taken a rough beating. I also think heels and elbows would benefit greatly from a product like this
This sounds like a really great product! I would use it for so many reasons. I have really dry hands and feet and I get a lot of rashes because of an immune disorder. My dad also has really damaged skin so I think this would be perfect for him!
